Pumpkin patch full of it?!

The friday before Halloween we decided we would take the kids out to the pumpkin patch. I looked up some that were close and found one that didn't charge admission and had some other enticing things like low prices so we went there first. It was about 25 minutes away and when we got there we realized it was just somebody who put pumpkins in their front yard and sold them... NOT TOO HAPPY. So we drove back to Los Lunas to our local pumpkin patch that charges a CRAZY amount of money to get in and pay for pumpkins on top of that but they were closing up shop for the day. So we decided to go to wal-mart and pick out our own pumpkins and make our own patch at home.

We each picked out a few pumpkins. Hinckleys best friend came with us too!

We carved a few of them in our lovely garage

Decorated a few too.

Of course mom was in charge of pulling out all the seeds!

The boys bobed for apples

They all loved this!

And we had caramel apples, apple cider and sugar cookies. We spent less then going to the pumpkin patch and the kids had a blast!
